Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise multiple teams to manage 20 local project partnerships in extreme poverty-prone areas (financial and program management).
  • Develop several program frameworks of components (i.e., community mobilization, nutrition, livelihood, climate change, integration of Disability, Gender) and project operational strategy.

Advisor- Community Mobilization (CMA)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Local NGO partners both from a program and financial perspective with the focused activity of Community Mobilization for Family Planning and Adolescent Health Services at NHSDP Clinics.
  • Develop a sustainable CM (Community Mobilization) model appropriate for NHSDP based on CARE’s CmSS and other existing best practices available in the country.
  • Provide strategic support to the whole NHSDP team and PNGOs to implement the CM (Community Mobilization) model to increase demand for health services.
  • Conduct applied research and social audit on community satisfaction, access and barriers gap on NHSDP services, community mapping using PRA tools, etc.
ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB)
Theme Leader, Coordinator (Social Development and Economic Justice) + Project Manager
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for both program and project in terms of quality assurance, effective budget utilization, maintained burn rate target, donor reporting, and efficient communication.
    • Supervised Program, M&E, Capacity Building, and FiancĂ© team (total 33 members) and provided strategic direction to implement the program and project on time.
    • Assist Partner NGOs team as part of project management titled C4D (Communication for Development) funded by UNICEF at five low-performance districts as a convergence district with Local Govt. on seven key behavior changes (i.e., WASH, ARI)
    • Initiated advocacy on Health Rights issues and organized national advocacy events, including media and rooted advocacy.

Consultancy Services in the Development Sector

Conducted training sessions on humanitarian accountability as part of the LCS4R (Local Capacity Strengthening for Response) project, jointly implemented by IMC and Concern USA across several countries and supported by USAID funding. The training targeted local NGOs and CBOs, with a strategic emphasis on enhancing capacity within the framework of Aid Localization. Key training modules concentrate on fostering community engagement, ensuring downward accountability, promoting anticipatory action, and enhancing fundraising capabilities.

International Agreement

  • In a recent time, spearheaded a Story of Change (SoC) project in collaboration with an international consultant team for the “Right Here Right Now (RHRN)” initiative. This project extended its reach across ten low and middle-income countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Rutgers Netherlands subsequently published a report showcasing 10 narratives of significant change in 2020.
  • Conducted a Contribution Analysis in collaboration with an international consultant team for a project addressing “Dalit and Ethnic Minority Rights” issues in Bangladesh, funded by HEKS/EPER Netherlands in 2017.
  • In 2016, spearheaded a Context Analysis alongside an international consultant affiliated with DAI, focusing on Extremism, Fundamentalism, and Violence. This comprehensive analysis included conducting 30 In-depth Interviews (IDIs) with a diverse array of stakeholders, encompassing government officials, political and religious leaders, youth representatives, development partners, international and national NGOs, as well as academicians).
  • Implemented a Coaching and Mentoring program for six Bangladeshi and three Jordanian participants under the Talent Development Project (TDP) of Save the Children International in partnership with CHS Alliance UK, with the guidance of a Lead Consultant from the UK in 2014.
  • Evaluated as part of the Global Evaluation Team for the SNL (Saving Newborn Lives) project of Save the Children, funded by the Bill Gates Foundation in 2012.
