Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF)
Sector Specialist (Advocacy, Partnership, SBCC, and Capacity Development)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise multiple teams to manage 20 local project partnerships in extreme poverty-prone areas (financial and program management).
  • Develop several program frameworks of components (i.e., community mobilization, nutrition, livelihood, climate change, integration of Disability, Gender) and project operational strategy.
  • Ensure the quality alignment with program and functional units (i.e., Program, MEAL, RBM, Finance, Capacity Development, SBCC Units).
  • Designed capacity development training courses on different issues (i.e., community mobilization, identification of extreme poverty, social behavior change communication (SBCC), rooted advocacy) and facilitated national and partner-level sessions.
  • Assist the Project Director in ensuring the program quality, donor reporting, quality field monitoring, and results tracking.
Water Aid Bangladesh
Director-Policy Advocacy (DoPA)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Research, Advocacy, and Communication team to implement advocacy-related research work, prepare advocacy case studies, thematic discussion papers, and other relevant documents, and efficient communication with WASH actors.
  • Initiated WaterAid Bangladesh’s policy and advocacy work aligned with global and country strategy and maintained effective relationships with policymakers and WASH sector actors.
  • Maintain vital networking and campaigning across the National and Asia Regional WASH sectors and coordinated various activities of the WASH in collaboration with other sector actors.
UNICEF Bangladesh
Capacity Building Specialist, Communication for Development (C4D)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the process and quality assurance of the Information and Feedback Center (IFC), Community Mobilization Volunteer Network (CMV Net), OTP (Therapeutic outpatient program), Child Protection, WASH, and life savings messages, and campaigning on disease outbreaks at Rohingya Camps.
  • Design training courses and facilitated sessions on different development and humanitarian issues (i.e., CHR, SPHERE) for UNICEF, CwCs, UNHCR, and other UN agency partners (INGOs, NNGOs, Local NGOs)
  • Develop SBCC materials (i.e., flashcards, posters, IEC) and provided orientation on IEC and SBCC issues, including IPC (interpersonal communication)
  • Monitor the program at Rohingya and Host community, ensuring the quality of the program through partnership modalities.
Counterpart International
Director of Program (DoP) / Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP)
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Establish effective coordination with government ministries (Particularly with MoYS and MoRW) at the national level and departments at the local level, including other relevant stakeholders.
    • Supervise MEAL, Program, Capacity Building, and Grants Management Team. Oversee financial management, budget tracking, and auditing.
    • Prepare and present quarterly and annual progress reports to USAID. Organized field visits and shared learning events for the USAID team
    • Ensure program quality and learning through monitoring activities at the field level; developed a work plan, Performance Management, Evaluation Plan, and result framework, including regular basis updates to Counterpart’s online platform Knowledge Management Portal.
CARE Bangladesh
Advisor- Community Mobilization (CMA)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Local NGO partners both from a program and financial perspective with the focused activity of Community Mobilization for Family Planning and Adolescent Health Services at NHSDP Clinics.
  • Develop a sustainable CM (Community Mobilization) model appropriate for NHSDP based on CARE’s CmSS and other existing best practices available in the country.
  • Provide strategic support to the whole NHSDP team and PNGOs to implement the CM (Community Mobilization) model to increase demand for health services.
  • Conduct applied research and social audit on community satisfaction, access and barriers gap on NHSDP services, community mapping using PRA tools, etc.
ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB)
Theme Leader, Coordinator (Social Development and Economic Justice) + Project Manager
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for both program and project in terms of quality assurance, effective budget utilization, maintained burn rate target, donor reporting, and efficient communication.
    • Supervised Program, M&E, Capacity Building, and Fiancé team (total 33 members) and provided strategic direction to implement the program and project on time.
    • Assist Partner NGOs team as part of project management titled C4D (Communication for Development) funded by UNICEF at five low-performance districts as a convergence district with Local Govt. on seven key behavior changes (i.e., WASH, ARI)
    • Initiated advocacy on Health Rights issues and organized national advocacy events, including media and rooted advocacy.
